The adventure begins with a convenient pick-up from hotels located in central Quito or from the designated meeting point at Magic Bean (corner of Foch and Juan León Mera). Our journey takes us on a scenic three-hour drive westward, through lush forests, leading us to the riverbanks.
Upon arrival, a professional guide will equip us with life jackets and helmets and conduct a comprehensive safety briefing. Following this, participants will be grouped for an in-depth rowing practice session in the boat under the guidance of an expert.
The rafting experience lasts approximately 3½ hours. Throughout this thrilling activity, you will encounter the adrenaline-pumping white waters, as well as enjoy peaceful moments drifting silently through the tropical forests. Prepare to get wet and immerse yourself in the natural symphony of the forest while observing wildlife up close.
Midway through our journey, we'll pause at the riverbank for a delightful picnic lunch. To conclude this memorable adventure, we'll toast the day's achievements with a few cold beers before making our way back to Quito, arriving at around 7:00 pm.
